My name is Donnie Smith and I am the Sheriff in the Washington County. I have been training dogs since 1979, having received my initial training at LaFollette in Strafford Missouri and from Penn Foster K-9. I am a certifying agent, training other trainers, for both Drug Beat and Therapy Dogs Inc. I train dogs for several local departments, including the Rockport Police Department, the Knox County Sheriff's Department and the Pleasant Point Police Department. I have also directed training for the US Department of Homeland Security.
    I provide lessons at your home or business, and will tailor my training to your needs. Training sessions usually last one hour, shorter for puppy training sessions, and can be scheduled at your convenience. I would be happy to discuss a training regimen for your dog.
